Engineer

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join our team. This role provides technical expertise and support to customers and the Lion sales team, ensuring high-quality service for our products.

The Service Engineer will work both on-site at customer locations and remotely, supporting salesrepresentatives on technical calls when required. Frequent travel may be necessary to meet customer needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Service & Support

  • Provide on-site field operations support and commissioning in accordance with customer contracts or Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing of machinery, hardware, and software at customer premises to ensure the highest standards.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and set up new machines prior to installation.
  • Write detailed technical reports on service activities and communicate findings to relevant departments.
  • Report and escalate any observed incidents or irregularities through the proper operational channels.
  • Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices to ensure high-quality field operations.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for team members and customers when needed.
  • Assist customers with after-sales support and spare parts replacement.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in technical service, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently for on-site support.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
