SENIOR MECHANICAL
ENGINEER
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid role. This position is based in Capelle aan den IJssel, with the flexibility for some remote work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, focusing on maritime and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for maritime and industrial applications.
- Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create detailed models and technical drawings.
- Conduct feasibility studies and apply engineering principles to machine and product design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical designs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical design, product development, and CAD modeling.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, mechanical systems, and industry standards.
- Previous experience in the maritime or industrial sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
