Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime, offshore, port, and terminal industries.
  • Provide technical expertise to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of our products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improvements.
  • Represent Lion Marine Group at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or Business with a strong technical background.
  • Experience in technical sales, business development, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of engineering products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical specifications into commercial benefits for customers.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
