We are looking for a proactive and data-driven (Online) Sales Engineer to take ownership of our product portfolio, support after-sales processes, and manage our online webshop. This role sits at the intersection of technical sales, e-commerce, and data analysis, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both technology and customers.

As the (Online) Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in growing our digital presence, improving customer experience, and supporting the commercial success of our technical products.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Portfolio Management

  • Maintain and continuously improve the product catalog, ensuring up-to-date specifications, pricing, and documentation.
  • Analyze product sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to make data-informed portfolio decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to align technical capabilities with customer needs.

 

Online Sales & Webshop Management

  • Manage and update the webshop platform, ensuring clear, attractive, and accurate product listings.
  • Monitor webshop performance and use data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and increased sales.
  • Work with marketing to optimize online visibility, campaigns, and product discoverability.

After-Sales & Customer Support

  • Provide technical support and follow-up for after-sales service and spare parts inquiries.
  • Act as a link between customers, sales, and service teams to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Support the creation of sales and service reports for internal analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical sales, e-commerce, or online product management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with webshop platforms, e-commerce tools, or CMS systems.
  • Commercial mindset with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Proactive, structured, and able to work independently across teams.
